Cala Santa Maria (Saint Mary cove), on the homonymous Island of Santa Maria, is characterized by a wide beach (about 200 meters) of white and fine sand. Thanks to the shallow depth of the sea, the waters that bathe the shore have a splendid bright blue color that fades into many different shades of light blue. The cove is dominated by a luxuriant Mediterranean scrub that hides, behind his back, a large pond inhabited by different species of sedentary and migratory birds, such as ducks and Cavalieri d’Italia (Italian knights).
